The NCWIT Summit Ambassador Experience

NCWIT Aspirations in Computing alumnae acted as ambassadors to the program at the 2013 NCWIT Summit in Tucson, Arizona. The young women has a fabulous time--they were flown into Tucson, stayed at a resort and were able to attend private events at the NCWIT Summit (including a spa day!) all thanks to the Bloomberg sponsorship of the Aspirations in Computing community.

The ambassadors started the stay with a private nacho & s'more party where they got to know each other and the Bloomberg reps over video games & karaoke. The next day they were treated to a spa treatment and swam in the private spa pool at the resort. Then at lunch they had a private lunch with Bloomberg, enjoying the delicious southwestern cuisine of Tucson.

Throughout the conference the ambassadors took center stage, speaking at different meetings and even presenting Flash Talks!
