  • AiC Community Member Charlotte Wall was featured in the Santa Barbara NoozHawk School Zone after being selected as a 2018 National Award for AiC Honorable Mention recipient. Way to go, Charlotte!
  • AiC Community Member Sabrina Rucker was described as “passionate about technology and cybersecurity” and “a leader” in getting other students at her school involved in technology" in a St. Paul Academy spotlight (no longer available).
  • AiC Community Member Maddie Smith was featured in The Oklahoman’s “Achievers” section after being named a 2018 National Award for AiC Honorable Mention recipient. Congratulations, Maddie!

  • NCWIT partnered with the Information Technology Research Institute at the Sam M. Walton College of Business to host a ceremony for 23 Arkansas high school women who were being honored with national and affiliate Award for AiC. Learn more about this exciting event here!
  • AiC Community Member and 2018 National Award for AiC Honorable Mention Recipient Amrita Lakhanpal was featured in Mountain Brook Village Living for her achievement. Way to go, Amrita!
  • “I want to open the door for an interest in computer science by allowing them to experiment through collaboration and creation… My goal is not to teach these kids how to be an expert in Java in a single session, but instead to expose them to the fundamentals behind computer science and a creative and engaging way.” // AiC Community Member and High School Senior Alexandra Roumeliotis was the subject of a Digital Journal profile (no longer available) all about her work with The Coding League, an organization she founded to introduce programming to kids from demographics that are underrepreseted in the tech industry. Amazing work!
  • AiC Community Member Jaden Thompson was recognized by the Bolivar Herald-Free Press for being named a 2018 National Award for AiC Honorable Mention recipient. Great job, Jaden!
