Julia, a 12th-grade standout, leads as National Computer Science Honor Society President at Mineola High School. With a three-year tenure on her FRC robotics team, Julia has become an integral force as President and the Head of Outreach, infusing innovation and collaboration into the team. Last Spring, she received the FIRST Dean's List Regional Award and qualified for Worlds, which showcased her commitment to diversity in technology. Beyond her technical prowess, Julia actively participates in initiatives supporting women in STEM and co-founded a Girls Who Code chapter this past Summer. Julia mixes computer science with various hobbies such as music and theater, serving as President of the Mineola AVTV club. She spends a large portion of her time engaged in community service, volunteering at all her school's concerts, plays, and many FIRST Robotics events. She envisions a space where creativity thrives, inspiring her peers to explore the captivating world of computer science. Julia, a rising star in technology and advocacy, is shaping the future of STEM with her leadership and passion for innovation. She hopes to pursue a dual major in computer science and business in her future college endeavors.
