Citlali A.

The second she stepped into the computer lab as a first grader, Citlali was enthralled by the knowledge of what she could accomplish with code. She started small, as anyone would, with Scratch and later advanced to other coding programs, such as MakeCode Arcade, always focusing on game development as she tackled character animations and platformers. Even when she is not coding a game, Citlali tends to focus on the design and aesthetics of her projects. She is determined to continue on the Computer Science track throughout her high school journey and is adapting different coding languages as each project goes by. Outside of her available Computer Science courses, Citlali co-leads a Game Development Club and works on individual games and projects. While her future plans remain unclear, Citlali is certain that she will pursue a career that allows her to take advantage of her computational knowledge, fluency with numbers, and her aptitude for scientific concepts.
