Yunseo H.
Yunseo is a senior at the Alabama School of Math and Science in Mobile, AL. While working on a CubeSat project with her team at the 2023 Beaver Works Summer Institute, she discovered her love for programming and the versatility of software in real-world engineering fields. Diving into computer-aided engineering (CAE) research through her school's Research Fellows Program and science fair experiences like the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), she has since deepened her interest in computer science, specifically in subfields like the internet of things, human-computer interaction, and machine learning assisted design. As an aspiring electrical engineer, she hopes to explore the intersection between engineering design and generative machine learning tools in the future, expanding its applications in her ongoing project on emergency shelters. In the upcoming fall, she will be attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she hopes to major in electrical engineering with computing and continue her work in CAE research.
