Tia H.

Ever since she first discovered MIT’s Scratch in the third grade, Tia has had a powerful fascination for coding for all her life. She won the 2022 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award under the title “Rising Star” as an Oregon and Southwest Washington Affiliate, and is taking CS classes at her high school. Combining her love of biology with her love of computer science, she hopes to study bioinformatics in the future.
