Rebecca T.

I am the program leader for a CTE cybersecurity program at Sierra Vista High School in Las Vegas, NV. I am a proud Las Vegas native and graduate of UNLV with an M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Technology Integration. I am currently working towards a PhD in interaction and media sciences with a research focus on the ethical use of generative AI in the secondary classroom. I am also the chapter advisor for our school's first Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter. We are preparing for our next state competition, where we will compete in cybersecurity, information technology, networking, and computer programming. I have twin sons who are freshmen in high school. When I'm not teaching, I train for and run ultra marathons. My longest race distance is 100 miles.
