
Nancy A.
Nancy is the Computer Science and Design Department Chair and STEM Coordinator at Viewpoint School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a master’s degree in Education with a focus on Mathematics and Physics from Adelphi University. With 27 years of experience teaching computer science, physics, and mathematics in public and private schools in New York and California, she has been a dedicated advocate for STEM education.
Throughout her career, Nancy has significantly expanded physics and computer science enrollment, introduced AP courses, and fostered robust academic programs. She is passionate about empowering students, particularly young women, to pursue STEM fields by advising a Girls in STEM Club and mentoring robotics students.
An endorsed College Board consultant since 2005, Nancy has presented numerous one-day and week-long workshops for educators nationwide, sharing her expertise and commitment to advancing STEM education.
