Nadia M.
Nadia is currently a senior at Westchester Academy for International Studies. She enjoys math, science, coding, and working with robots. She has participated in Botball, MATE ROV, and Girl's Who Code at her school. She was president of her schools robotics team for 2 years and this is her 5th year as a member of the team. She has also done an Independent Study in robotics and she has taken Computer Science. She enjoys working with other members of her school's robotics team using critical and creative thinking to solve problems, code, and design robots. Her biggest accomplishment was getting the opportunity to attend the Botball Global Conference for Educational Robotics (GCER) and participate in the competition while attending workshops and presentations from experts. In the future, she wants to major in mechanical engineering in college. One day she hopes to help design robots or rovers that can gather new information and conduct studies about our universe.
