She is very passionate about math and computer science and a strong believer in increasing the representation of women in computing and STEM in general. She is a part of her school’s robotics program, where she supports her team as a programmer and also conducts yearly Girl Powered workshops for middle school girls, to motivate them to pursue their passion in the STEM field.
She has learned coding in languages such as HTML, CSS, C++, C#, Java, Python, and worked on projects that use artificial intelligence for the greater good. In the future, she hopes to continue her passion for computer science and AI, by pursuing a career in those fields and working on meaningful projects that positively impact society.
In her free time, she is heavily involved in STEM related community service activities at two nonprofit organizations: JuSTEMagine, where she serves on the board as the Vice President and Director of Curriculum, and at Prairie STEM, where she helps at various in-person events.
