Chloe B.
Chloe is a senior as well as a member of Nazareth High School’s 16617 FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics team. She is also involved in cheer, basketball, tennis, cross country, FFA, 4-H, UIL academics, National Honor Society, and Holy Family Youth Group. As an eighth-grader, she joined the high school robotics team. Her role on the team included preparing the engineering portfolio as well as the videography. The rookie team won the FTC Inspire Award for their portfolio and qualified for state and world competitions. Her freshman year, the team was the runner-up at the state level and would have qualified for the world competition if not for its cancelation. Last year, they returned to the state championship, taking the gold, and competed with twelve other nations on the world level. Among 7,000 FTC teams, 16617 ranked 31st. She is very proud of the fact that she was able to contribute to the team's success at such a young age. Her goals are to graduate as valedictorian of her class and attend a four-year university. She would like to attend medical school after graduating with her bachelor's degree in biology.
