Berline C.
Berline had a fascination with technology from the start. She loved the way technology led to her more efficient lifestyle. Her technology classes were rigorous, but she obtained many certifications through hard work and determination to succeed. Berline sets high standards for herself because she knows that by working hard, she will be able to achieve just about anything. Time for her is incredibly precious, so she makes sure that her decisions at any given time are reasonable. Berline takes part in many clubs and competitions. She has competed and won first place in several hackathons and is willing to do anything to succeed. In 9th grade, she learned how to use HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to develop responsive web pages. She later sharpened her front-end web development skills. Berline has learned how to use PHP and MySQL to connect with databases and strengthened her back-end development skills in her sophomore year of high school. She is currently an undergraduate student double majoring in Biology and Computer Science to sharpen her technical education and find a way to revolutionize the medical field with cutting-edge technology. She is most interested in computer programming and software development. Berline wants to continue the road with her education because she knows that one day, she can leave a significant impact on the world and be a role model for other minorities who aspire to be in the field of computing and medicine.
