Amaya M.

Amaya is a senior at Mary G. Montgomery who plans to attend The University of Alabama and major in Computer Science with a minor in Robotics or Creative Writing. She is part of MGM's IT-Computer Science pathway in the Academy Of Engineering Sciences along with being an advanced honors student: taking AP and dual enrollment classes. Furthermore, Amaya has recently joined her school's drone team and robotics team. Last school year, she was inducted into the National Science Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Her career goals include becoming a 3D animator and modeler, a game designer, and a robotist. Likewise, she has a unique passion for learning German, AI, and creative writing. Amaya plans to further her Python programming skills as well as continue learning Java in AP CSA, and obtaining her first Python certification. She aspires to create and entertain the people around her, influencing the world one step at a time.
