Abigail H.

Abigail is a senior in high school in Nevada. She is passionate about cybersecurity and computer science. In her magnet school, she is in the Cybersecurity program. Abigail is also part of the Girls Who Code Club, where she participates in coding events and competitions, and is the treasurer for the Cybersecurity Club, where she competes in CyberPatriot and National Cyber League competitions. In CyberPatriot, her team has earned a place in the Gold Tier for two years and made Platinum this year. During the National Cyber League Spring 2023 Competition, she ranked in the top eleven percent of high school and college students in the nation in the individual round and in the top four percent in the nation for the team round. She is also an Alternate Lead Student Ambassador for the Cybersecurity program at her school, in which she meets with prospective students and talks to them about the school and program, as well as helps to organize and run school events. She has earned her CompTIA Network+ Certification and is currently studying to pass the CompTIA Security+ Certification. Outside of STEM, she is a ballet, contemporary, and jazz dancer, and she loves to read and paint. She plans to study Computer Science in college next year.
