The 2025 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award Application period opened Sept. 1!
Wanted: More HS, Collegiate, and HS Educator Applicants!
What is the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award?
This award recognizes and honors women and gender-expansive students for their aspirations and dreams in technology! It’s created for high school and collegiate students who are in all stages of their tech journeys – from beginner to advanced – who participate in all areas of tech and computing, and connects them to a community of 30,000 technologists. These technologists share their passion, providing a supportive network and valuable connections in the tech industry.
This award is different because it uplifts and encourages technologists at ALL stages of their journeys! Please encourage all of your eligible students to apply. There are award designations for ALL levels of technical ability, including students with little to no experience.
Winning an AiC High School Award looks great on college applications, too.
Help us spread the word about the 2025 application dates and program website (www.aspirations.org) with your technology educators, students, family, and friends!
NEW this year! You can send encouragement to prospective applicants using The Aspirations in Computing Encouragement Form. It can be difficult to contact each student you may want to notify, but using this form will help the AIC team directly email them to let them know you think they should apply. You can find the form at https://www.aspirations.org/encourage
