The Department of Information Systems (ISYS) at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville Arkansas is proud to host the Arkansas Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC). Award recipients will be selected for their aptitude and interest in IT and computing, solid leadership ability, good academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.

Congratulations to all our Arkansas Affiliate Award Recipients! 

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) honours and recognizes grade 9 through 12 students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education. 

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing offers both a national and local affiliate competition to generate support and visibility for women's participation in communities nationwide. For more information about the national program please visit www.aspirations.org.

The 15th annual Aspirations in Computing Award Ceremony will be held in Spring 2025!
