Northern Alabama Affiliate
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Alabama is proud to host the Award for Aspirations in Computing in Northern Alabama!
Each Fall, award recipients are selected for their aptitude and interest in IT and computing, solid leadership ability, good academic history, and plans for post-secondary education. Awardees are invited to a banquet dinner each Spring with their parents and teachers.
The 2025 Aspirations Award banquet in North Alabama was held on April 26, 2025 (Saturday) at the University of Alabama in the Bryant Conference Center. The Aspirations banquet celebration will honor all Winners, Honorable Mention, and Rising Star recipients. The event will also honor our teacher awardees who receive the NCWIT Educator Award and the Dr. Albert Lilly Educator Award.
